We battled the bees to climb through the thicket and bramble to harvest the most delicious, local Ozark blackberries from McGarrah Farms in Northwest Arkansas. This Blackberry syrup is the fruit of that labor. Jammy and bright – it is perfect for a blackberry bramble cocktail or mocktail, blackberry affogato, or as an addition to any savory sauce for a deep berry pop.
suggested uses: add one ounce of blackberry syrup and a lemon wedge to your favorite iced tea. add blackberry sage syrup to gin, bitters, fresh berries, lime and lilet rouge for an over the top "smash" cocktail
Blackberry Bramble Cocktail
1/4 cup fresh blackberries
2 oz dry gin
1 oz pH Blackberry syrup
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
Soda water to top
Muddle blackberries with syrup in shaker. Add gin and lemon juice to the shaker with ice. Shake well to chill and combine ingredients. Strain into a glass with fresh crushed ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with fresh mint and blackberries. Enjoy!
